The Connections column is where you link ideas across your Garden. Think of it as creating pathways between plants - your garden thrives not just on individual entries, but on how they relate to each other.
- Why use it?
- To spot patterns across different pillars (e.g. a Creativity article that inspires your Writing).
- To build “clusters” of thought around recurring themes.
- To surface unexpected overlaps that spark new insights.
- How to use it:
- When you add a new entry, ask yourself: Does this connect to anything I’ve saved before?
- Use the Connections column to link it directly.
- Over time, you’ll see roots forming - a visual map of your evolving interests.
- Example:
- In Creativity, you save the article “AI Can’t Give You Good Taste”.
- You also have a Writing & Reading entry about “Developing Personal Taste.”
- By connecting the two, you start noticing how taste functions both in design, literature and lifestyle, creating a richer idea ecosystem.
✨ Tip: Don’t overthink it. Even a loose connection can become meaningful later.
